I've been a stereoscopy enthusiast for over twentyfive years now. I used to take slides with my ancient Edixa Stereo camera, until I bought a digital Canon Ixus in 2001 and completely forgot how old fashioned photography works (Shame on me!)
I still have the Edixa fully operable though.

Nowadays I get full satisfaction from converting pictures from "flat" 2D into stereoscopic 3D. The beautiful thing about that, is that you can make almost any existing picture 3D, whether that's a photograph or a painting. It takes a lot more time and effort to create the proper effect, but I hate fishing anyway...

...maybe I should get so lucky to get offered some commissioned work and be able to afford a proper digital cameraset to take those instant 3D pictures again... ;-)

Of course you are free to link to my work in DA comments, BUT
It is not allowed to use any of the pictures in my stream for commercial purposes, or to publish them in your own stream or anywhere else without my written approval!

Enjoy!

So I don't visit this site very often any more, but whenever I do I make sure to see what new conversions you've put together. All of them are amazing.

Faving your art requires no special skill. Creating it, however, is a whole different thing ;-)

Didn't you make a 3D tutorial featuring that way you create your 3D images?

Well, yes, not entirely finished yet, but very well usable I'd guess...
Have a look in my journal, it even mentions your name ;-)

I thought so... ;-)

The reason I'm asking is that I was recently promoted to co-founder @ :iconanaglyphart:, (as recent as today in fact) and I'm looking for ways to spruce-up the groups page a little.

I was thinking of featuring your tutorial in a group widget. If we use it, it will remain there until we decide to remove it or replace it with something else.

Do you think you'll attempt to complete it any time soon?
